Feeling Stuck? 10 Action- Steps to Create Change


Have you ever experienced a moment in your life where you felt like you’ve been running on a hamster wheel? Living the same day over, and over, and over again? Alarm, coffee, news, traffic, work, lunch, dinner, bed, Repeat, repeat, repeat.  It almost seems like a bad dream. In fact, it is a bad dream its a F****** nightmare.

Living the same day for the next 50 or 60 years is not living; it’s existing, it is floating being pushed around by the currents of life.  You are not a slave; you are not a worker bee. You are a human with feelings, a heart, a face, and a soul, and that soul craves more “why else would you be reading this post.” You’re sick of it. You want to experience freedom, bliss, happiness, and peace, and I want to show you how and why all of these things are possible.

Figure out what it is you want

What do you want from this life? Would you like to travel, live on an island in the middle of the Pacific, write books, paint, draw, create, inspire? What is it that excites your spirit? Having no idea what you want to do is the main reason a lot of us are stuck on the hamster wheel. We have no idea how to elicit change. We have been told the majority of our lives to get a job, have a boss and do whatever they ask you to do. so often, we suffer through the week to get to the weekend, and then they tell us that’s life.

Exercise: You are granted three wishes. You can have/do/become anything you want there are no limitations. Grab a pen and a sheet of paper and write down your three wishes. What is holding you back from achieving these dreams? Begin by taking steps in the direction of your goals. No matter how big or small of an action you decide to take it is still pushing you in the right direction.

Shift Your Beliefs

 During your life journey, you have created a belief system, all that you know are things you have been taught. You came into this world knowing nothing, and accepting everything as truth. So how do we change this? How do we train our minds to believe everything we want? Everything we desire is ours in one form or another? Begin thinking positive high vibrational thoughts, and soon you will begin to see opportunity everywhere.

Exercise: “Evaluate everything you have learned. Dismiss anything that does not feel right within your soul.”

Stop Participating in Negative Self Talk

 An example of this would be, “I’m too lazy to start my own business.” “I don’t have enough time to go after what I want.” “I’m too tired to work on my goals today; work was exhausting.” See this negative self-talk is hindering. It’s time to be aware of how you are speaking to yourself. The statements above are you telling yourself that you can work hard to build someone else’s dreams, but not your own.

Exercise: Nip the negative self-talk and thoughts in the bud. Becoming aware of the way you speak to yourself is a huge step in helping you get unstuck. When a negative thought arises, allow it. Watch it. Ask yourself why am I thinking this way, and turn the negative statement into a positive statement.


Create a Vision Board

There is no better way to elicit change than creating a vision board. Vision boards help generate a filling of happiness, they give us a reason to look forward, make our goals reality, and they serve as daily reminders that we were put here to do more than exist. We were set here to thrive.

Exercise: Plan an arts and crafts day invite a few loving friends and family members over. Speak your dreams into existence to these caring people. Buy a poster board, find old magazines, quotes, pictures, inspirations, and begin piecing together your vision board.

Listen to High Vibe Music

My love, Music is incredibly healing. I think music comes straight from heaven and into our ears. There is nothing like an uplifting song to set your mood right. I listen to music in the morning it is a critical part of my morning routine it sets the tone for my day.  You can practice music therapy by using song bowls or by listening to a few of your high vibe jams on a Bose Color Sound.

Exercise: Create a bad ass playlist that inspires you to create change, and bring on the life of your dreams. A few of my favorites are

Practice Movement

Movement is significant in creating change because once your body is in a state of health, you automatically begin to vibrate at a higher rate. Your energy levels increase, mental fog is gone, and you can see beauty all around you. Be sure to make whatever form of movement you choose fun. If you hate running don’t run, now is a time for you to make space for the things you love. If music is your thing dance for 10 to 15 minutes a day. If you enjoy, walks go for a 2-mile walk in nature.  Your form of movement can be whatever you want it to be.

Exercise: Find your source of movement. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Go to a gym near you sign up for a yoga class or a spin class. Find out what kind of movement excites you.



Live In a Constant State of Love

In the wise words of Allie Michelle, “I am an instrument of love.”

Let’s rest on that statement for a bit.




Soul Flowers this is Law of Attraction 101 right here. What you put out is what you get back. The universe is a mirror it is picking up on your signal every day and giving you the energy you are sending out into the world. So what happens when we live in a state of love? When we love others and ourselves unconditionally? That love is reciprocated back to us. Love is the most potent force in the universe, and it is the most beautiful.

Once you start to send out loving energy for yourself and others that loving energy will make its way back to you via loving people, inspiring ideas, miraculous incidents and so much more. Practicing self-love is a must if you are ready to take charge of your life and get unstuck.

Exercise: Start a 30-day self-love challenge. Every day for the next 30 days do something for yourself. Take salt water baths, wake up early to see the sunrise, create a lifestyle change, create a diet change, stop smoking. Throughout your day I want you to ask yourself these questions, “Is this for my higher good?” “Is this something a person who loves themselves would do?

Be of Service

The universe is all about balance it is okay to give, but you must also take. It is okay to receive, but you must also provide. We see this law in action in nature consistently. Everything on this earth depends on something to live. We are all truly interconnected. The Animals need the plants, the plants need the sun, and we need the animals. You see there is a constant give and take.

Exercise: There are so many ways you can be of service, and it doesn’t always have to mean monetary assistance. You can send someone positive energy, pray for them, drop judgments, and practice wishing soul you come across love.


Use Discernment/ Fix Your Surroundings

Your environment plays a tremendous role in your vibration, and in today’s society, it is hard to stay around high vibrational beings. We all work, we all have bills to pay. Some of us may work and live in stressful situations. We have to learn how to keep this energy from affecting us, but first, we have to be willing and able to let go of what is no longer serving us.

If you live in a colder environment, and you wish you were somewhere in the tropics. Decide to spruce up your environment buy vibrant house plants, decorate your space in bright tropical colors, spray exotic fragrances, light candles, eat a lot of tropical fruit. Invite the energy you wish to feel and before you know it you will be sitting on a beach in Hawaii enjoying the sun.

Stop participating in gossip

Start looking for like-minded people

Find work that is more aligned with your beliefs

Believe in your self and your abilities


Do something that scares you

For the majority of my life, I did things from a place of fear. These days I am choosing to act from a space of love. I know on a deep internal level that I am and will continue to be divinely supported.

One of the significant turning points in my life was deciding to move to Florida. I was scared shitless by the thought of loading up my old 97 jeep wrangler with my belongings and my Siberian husky Ryan. I left a job I loved, the first apartment that I lived in alone, and made the trek down the road. I did not know if the jeep would make the 19-hour drive, I barely had any money, but I did it. Leaving the cold was always my dream. Creating a new life somewhere far away is still my dream, and I did it. Yes, it was f****** terrifying, but it changed my entire life, and I am grateful for that.


A word of advice

 Decide to walk on the whispers of the universe. Know that you are being called to certain things because it is a part of your experience here on this planet. It is part of your purpose. Stop fighting the currents of life. Stop being governed by fear, and start taking charge of your life. It would be a shame to sit on the sidelines and let life pass you by; I believe that there is no such thing as failure. I think that our experiences shape us into who we are. We need these experiences to learn and grow in a new way. So go after what you want unapologetically and know that you are doing what you need to do.
